PIIGS + Belgium + Austria = Humpty Dumpty

There has been much speculation about the huge deficit problems in the EU amongst the so-called PIIGS (Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain) in recent weeks. Now, a new member can be added to the fray. Belgium. That’s right. The bastion of the EU’s own headquarters. According to the Wall Street Journal, even Austria is coming under scrutiny from bond traders. If the EU can’t even manage to keep Belgium safe from fiscal troubles, then what hope is ... << MORE >>

Let Them Eat Cake

A day after nixing pay cuts to about six-hundred top earners in the public sector, Taoiseach Brian Cowen, had the unmitigated gall to invoke patriotic sentimentality while simultaneously calling on the people to accept whatever cuts or hardships may befall them in the coming years. Referring to the sacrifices on pensions and pay made by the public sector, he said all sectors of the economy, both public and private, had a part to play. Well, I suppose that’s ... << MORE >>

Is The EU Anti-Christian?

Is the EU Anti-Christian? You be the judge. A German couple that fled to America so they could home-school their children have been granted political asylum by a US immigration judge. (Story Link below) There are increasing incidents of Anti-Christian activity against the native peoples of Europe by the Brussels’ Eurocrats that will be covered here in the future since this is a matter of importance to most of us.

Next, the “PIIGS” ...

Does Inequity Abound In Ireland? You Be The Judge.

According to Bloomberg.com, the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA), established in 2009 to “cleanse” banks of toxic debt, is buying €80 billion worth of property development loans from lenders at a discount of about 30 percent. That may leave banks short of capital, even before mortgage losses come through, and the government pledged to provide extra cash to prop them up if needed. Morgan Kelly, an economics professor at University College Dublin, said banks faced “complete destruction” from ... << MORE >>

Many Gripes About Leaking Pipes

According to the Irish Independent, Ireland's leaking water mains are to be upgraded and replaced at a cost of €300m with the money coming from existing budgets; however, Environment Minister John Gormley yesterday revealed that €1 billion would have to be raised through water charges that will be imposed on 1.1 million homes to meet the cost of treating the water system. The figures would suggest an annual charge of €909 to all homes using public water supplies. ... << MORE >>

How Droll, An Opinion Poll

“A public-opinion poll is no substitute for thought.”
—Warren Buffett

According to the a recent Ipsos MRBI poll, support for the Government is only 19% with three out of four voters still unhappy with the job the Coalition is doing. Brian Cowen is said to be up to a whopping 26% approval rating at about 5 points behind Enda Kenny and Gerry Adams. Amusingly, G.W. Bush started being rated the worst president in US history when his popularity dipped down to 26%! ...

Is Dublin Cooking the Books?

Let us have a quick look at the latest scam from Dublin. Shall we?

The Irish Independent reports that taxpayers who forked out billions to rescue the banks will be kept in the dark for at least a year over the reasons for the financial crisis. Taoiseach Brian Cowen, senior Fianna Fail and a host of other apparently corrupt politicians announced their plans for a commission of inquiry, which will be largely conducted in private. The Government is modeling the inquiry on the Murphy commission ...

13 POINTS FOR ECONOMIC RECOVERY

Since virtually anyone can think up a better fiscal policy than the current “clown” government in Dublin, I decided to formulate some proposals.

13 POINTS FOR ECONOMIC RECOVERY

  • 1.   Ireland’s offshore oil and gas is worth at least  €420,000,000,000. * Royal Dutch Shell, Statoil, Exxon Mobil and other globalist corporations will be taking billions of Euros out of the country in the next couple of decades. In other countries they would have to give the majority ...

BRRR…This Global Warming Sure Is Cold!

Ireland is freezing cold. So is much of middle and northern Europe. Most of North America and Asia are freezing. The ice caps are growing. In fact, the earth is cooling as stated in various 1970’s reports. (See wizbangblog.com link below) The global warming hype is a scam. It’s really just that simple. It’s a way to control people with oppressive “green” laws and crooked carbon taxation schemes as previously mentioned in past articles on this site/blog.

A Legal Flaw in the Irish Blasphemy Law?

The Irish government says its new “Blasphemy Law,” which came into force on January 1, is needed because until now only Christians have enjoyed legal protection of their beliefs. Translation - Protect the “poor old Muslims” whose fat-cat Saudi masters helped fund the pro-Lisbon 2 faction a few months ago.

I believe that Ireland's reactionary blasphemy law is not only Theocratic Fascism and the type of thinking associated with Muslim extremism, but also a step back into the Middle Ages. Atheists have vowed to take the government to court should they seek ... << MORE >>
